I See Fire（アイ・シー・ファイア）は、2013年12月10日に発売されたサウンドトラック・アルバム『The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack』に収録されているシングル。

2013年の映画『ホビット竜に奪われた王国』のサウンドトラックのために作曲され、エンドロールで使用されました。

『ホビット』の監督Peter Jackson（ピーター・ジャクソン）は、娘ケイティの推薦を受け、Ed Sheeran（エド・シーラン）に映画のための楽曲制作を依頼しました。

エド・シーランはニュージーランドのウェリントンにある映画のポストプロダクション施設、パーク・ロード・ポストで行われた試写会でこの映画を鑑賞し、ジャクソンはエドに映画の結末に焦点を当てるようアドバイスしました。「最後の10分に集中してください。曲はそこを反映させる必要があります。…観客の手を取り、中つ国から現実世界へと連れ戻すような曲を書いてください。」

映画を鑑賞した自身の反応を捉えながら、エドはすぐに「小人としての視点から」歌詞を書き始め、またジャクソンはフォークソングを要求し、その方向性に沿おうとしながらリリース版に含まれる要素のほとんどをわずか1日で作曲・レコーディングしました。エドは、1970年代のアイルランドフォークバンド、Planxty（プランクスティ）からインスピレーションを得たと明かしています。

全英シングルチャートで13位にランクイン、ニュージーランドでは6週目に1位を獲得し、シーランにとって同国初のナンバーワンシングルとなりました。「I See Fire」はサテライト賞の最優秀オリジナル楽曲にノミネートされました。
