Songbird（ソングバード）は、2002年7月1日に発売された5thアルバム『Heathen Chemistry』からのシングル。
アコースティックギターとシンプルなメロディが心地よいラブソング。Liam Gallagher（リアム・ギャラガー）が初めて単独で作詞作曲を手がけたシングル曲です。
リアムの当時の妻Nicole Appleton（ニコール・アップルトン）に捧げられた素朴でまっすぐな想いを込めた名曲です。
Noel Gallagher（ノエル・ギャラガー）はインタビューで、「“Songbird”を初めて聴いた時、私は度肝を抜かれた。あまりにもシンプルで、あまりにもストレートだったからだ。しかし、リアムが曲を聴かせる時、彼は聴く人をその場で一瞬にして打ちのめし、そして意識を取り戻した時には、心臓を突き刺して、彼の類まれなサウンド能力に畏敬の念を抱かせようとしているのだ。」と語っています。
全英シングルチャートで3位、カナダのホット100で2位、アイルランドとイタリアではトップ10入りを果たしました。
