We Are The Champions（伝説のチャンピオン）は、1977年10月28日に発売された6thアルバム「News of the World（世界に捧ぐ）」に収録されているシングル。

We Will Rock You（ウィ・ウィル・ロック・ユー）と両A面シングルとしてリリースされたシングル。

当時は全米で最も売れたQueenのシングルとしても有名で、曲そのものはBohemian Rhapsody（ボヘミアン・ラプソディ）がリリースされた1975年よりも前に完成したそうです。

全米4位、全英2位の大ヒットを記録し、2018年には映画「ボヘミアン・ラプソディ」のヒットからストリーミングでも多く聴かれ、現在では売り上げを含めて580万を超えるユニット数を記録しています。

ミュージック・ビデオはライブ映像ではなく、曲のためにライブ形式で収録され、ファンクラブのメンバーが観客として出演しており、撮影終了後には特別コンサートが行われています。
